"The treatment I received was exceptional"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Accident & Emergency Crosshouse Hospital / Xrays & Scans

(as a service user),

Phoned NHS 24 recently with an ankle injury. I was then phoned back and given an appointment at the minor injuries unit at Crosshouse hospital.

I attended at midday and within the hour I had been assessed, X-rayed, diagnosed and discharged.

I would like to thank every member of staff that I saw, A&E receptionist, radiographers and Wendy the ANP. They were all very friendly and helpful. The treatment I received from the minor injuries unit was exceptional.

Dear falconsm87

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to share this lovely feedback about the care provided within the Emergency Department, University Hospital Crosshouse.

I am sorry to hear that you needed to attend the Minor Injuries Unit with an ankle injury, but glad to know that you received such prompt, professional and compassionate care from our all of our staff there.

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients, and it will be my pleasure to share your kind comments with the wider Team in the Emergency Department and with Wendy in particular. I know they will all be delighted to receive this feedback and to know that you felt so well supported whilst you were under their care

Please accept my best wishes for your ongoing recovery and thank you once again for taking the time to acknowledge your care experience.

Kind regards

Pamela
