I have a painful Right Ankle. I phoned recently one early morning and spoke to a very friendly Consultant who arranged an appointment around 30 minutes later.
When I arrived in the Centre I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist. Following on from that I was seen by the triage nurse Pamela. She was very pleasant and professional. Within a short period of time I was examined by a very pleasant doctor.
An X-ray was arranged and happened within 10 minutes waiting time. Again all the staff were very friendly and professional. I was seen by the doctor given x-ray results, advice on ankle injuries, a supply of appropriate medications and a physio referral. The service which I received was top notch. Many thanks to all the staff.
The unit is quiet, spotlessly clean and even though busy it has an Air of Calm to it. Why can’t all our main hospitals run as effectively and efficiently as this Unit.
