"Could not have had a more positive stay"

About: The Princess Royal Maternity Unit / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

I recently had to attend ward 56 at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary for a day admission. The admission soon turned to a full weekend stay which was a really tough experience.

This experience was made a whole lot better with the care I received from every single staff member I crossed paths with from the HCSW’s, staff nurses, Drs and Consultants. I would love to remember everyone’s name but sadly I was looked after by so many staff members I cannot remember them all.  I could not have had a more positive stay during a really tough time.

I would really love to thank Dr McAlpine-Scott for her care, compassion and empathy she showed me during my stay.

I had continuous reassurance throughout my stay and was kept informed and up to date throughout.

Thank you again for every bit of care I received.

Dear DST22,

Thank you so much for spending time offering feedback on our fantastic Ward 56 team.

I'm sorry to hear your stay was longer than expected, but delighted that this was a positive experince for you.

I will share this feedback with our team - including our HCSW’s, staff nurses, doctor and Consultants - especially Dr MacAlpine-Scott.

Having continuous reassurance throughout our patient's journey and being kept informed and up to date throughout is the standard of care we wish to deliver so I am glad you found this to be the case.

I wish you well in the future.

Kind regards,

Nikki
