"They helped me with more than just my treatment"

About: Wessex Clinical Van

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

The Van, Inclusion and the nurse that was with them supported me to get treated for Hep C.

I can honestly say that without the help I got, I would still have Hep C.

Every month, they came to see me at my home address and would come to find me if I wasn't there.

The team were amazing. They helped me with more than just my treatment and would always buy me something to eat if I hadn't eaten and always took their time to ask if there was any other support I needed.

Recently, the team came to find me in town and took me to their van and for a blood test to see if my Hep C treatment had worked.

They came to find me in town a few hours later to tell me that my treatment had worked and that I no longer have Hepatitis C. 

Without this service, and the support they gave me, I would still have Hep C.

Thank you to everyone who has helped me to get better.
