"I had been treated with kindness"

About: New Cross Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I had a pressure sore on my toe next to the big toe. The waiting list was approximately 3 months, however a spot became available the week after my initial consultation.

I had a piece of bone removed and a staple inserted to shorten and straighten the toe so it wouldn't press into the floor any longer which had been causing me severe pain. The procedure was performed under local anaesthetic as I had requested, whereby I could watch the entire surgery being performed.

From the initial consultation to my being discharged after surgery,  I had been treated with kindness, respect and top level of professionalism.  Everyone who was involved with my care was absolutely fantastic, So kind, courteous, friendly and utmost professionalism.

I would like to thank all involved from the bottom of my heart.

Kind regards
