About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / General Medicine (Wards 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 18 & 27)

(as a relative),

My father was a frequent visitor at Ward 8 until his final departure to the Accord Hospice late last year.

Every single member of the ward - from the cleaners to the consultants - were first class. Caring, compassionate, and so well suited to the jobs they do. All assets to the ward, hospital and profession.

The day we left was bittersweet, leaving so many familiar faces who we trusted wholeheartedly in their care for him, but their recommendation for his next and last steps towards the hospice was the last and kindest thing they did for our family.

We are forever thankful and appreciative to every single staff member on Ward 8.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us regarding the communication, treatment and care experienced by your dad and rest of the family from the team at Ward 8 of the RAH last year. The whole team will be so grateful to hear your sincere and kind feedback, and to know that their care and compassion made a very difficult time for you all a little bit less stressful.
