"Double booked for a scheduled appointment "

About: Russells Hall Hospital

I feel that to be double booked for a scheduled appointment with a Consultant is poor practice. I was sat waiting with no explanation and was forced to ask why I was not being seen.

I have acute anxiety especially in a clinical setting and was further upset to be told nonchalantly by the nurse that my appointment had been double booked as if that were normal practice!!!

I walked out. I had the manners to turn up for my appointment early and expect some regard to be shown to me.
