About: New Stobhill Hospital / Elderly Medicine (Ward b & c)

My Dad was admitted to Ward B at Stobhill Hospital in mid-November from GRI.  Sadly my Dad passed away at Christmas on the Ward, but we wanted to take the time to say thank you to every member of staff for the exceptional care and attention to my Dad and us as a family.

Every member of staff deserves a thank you from catering and domestic, nursing, portering, AHP's and medical staff. We knew my Dad was in safe hands and care that truly demonstrated the values that the NHS should be proud of care and compassion, dignity and respect, open, honest and responsible, quality and teamwork.

Staff worked so well as a team and that stood out. The values are demonstrated through the whole team on the ward working together for the best for patients and their families. From the bottom of our hearts we want to say thank you for everything, we could not have wished or asked for more for our Dad.

We would like to ask this is passed back to all staff and we would love for them to be considered for a chairman's award for the exceptional care they give day in and day out.

Thank you for taking time to share your feedback with us, and I'm very sorry to learn that your dad sadly passed away. I know the whole team at Stobhill Hospital Ward B will be very moved to hear your sincere and incredibly kind feedback, not just about the treatment and care your dad received but how their communication, compassion and care had such a lasting impact at what must have been a very difficult and stressful time for you and your family. It's what we strive to achieve every day and I will be sure to share this with the whole team. Thank you again.
