I cannot speak higher of the midwives, nurses and other staff in ward 3 at Dr Grays.
After my premature baby was transferred back from Raigmore with unknown jaundice, the staff explained to me what and me being quite upset the staff in ward 3 made me feel so reassured and comfortable with the next steps of his care as well as my own, helping show me how to provide the NG feeds and helping with breastfeeding, having a good laugh with me knowing I had been struggling with being in the hospital for a prolonged time and celebrating the progress my baby was making with me.
We were in and out a few times over the course of a couple of weeks and with each admittance I was made to feel just as comfortable and comforted each time. I really could not have asked for better care for myself and my baby.
Throughout our stays the staff consistently checked in on us both as well as my partner when he was visiting, ensured we were eating and drinking plenty throughout the stress and our stay.
"Consistently checked in on us"
