"They helped to make a very stressful situation better"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Critical Care Unit (ICU/HDU)

(as a relative),

My brother-in-law was cared for in ICU West for 5 days following an aneurysm.

I was very impressed with the staff within the unit who were always respectful to both my brother-in-law and the family who were visiting.

As relatives we were kept well informed of everything that was going on. All of the staff made a point of introducing themselves and they would give daily updates about my brother-in-law’s care.

Sadly my brother-in-law has now passed, but I cannot thank the staff enough for their exceptional care. They helped to make a very stressful situation better.
