"Real kindness and lots of patience"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a service user),

I attended with severe back pain and was totally immobile. The staff took care of me with real kindness & lots of patience. I was quickly given analgesia.

The nurses in ED are under huge pressure with their workload & over crowding but they gave me 1st class care despite this.

Nurses Clare, Connor & Elaine.

Dear Janette80

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to share this lovely feedback about the care provided by the staff within the Emergency Department, University Hospital Crosshouse.

I am sorry to hear that you needed to attend the hospital with severe back pain, but glad to know that you received such prompt, professional and compassionate care from our all of our staff there.

When times are challenging, it’s always nice to hear such positive feedback from our patients and it will be my pleasure to share your kind words with the wider Team in the Department and with nurses Clare, Connor & Elaine in particular. I know they will all be delighted to receive this feedback and to know that you felt so well supported whilst you were under their care

Please accept my best wishes for your ongoing recovery and thank you once again for taking the time to acknowledge your care experience.

Kind Regards

Pamela
