"What a fantastic experience"

What a fantastic experience. 

I just had two hernias repaired concurrently by the team at Dorchester day surgery unit. From start to finish a very slick and enjoyable experience. 

When I went in the receptionists were friendly, and being able to arrive in the afternoon was a big plus. The environment was clean and tidy. Following that my nurses were informative, considerate and helpful. I apologise for the not getting their names but it really set the scene for the good experience. 

My anaesthetic team Drew and ?Jenny (consultant) talked to me about the options. They were both very friendly. Drew has an excellent patient manner and made me feel at ease. 

Mr Gupta and Mr Graja both visited me before my op and less than three hours after arriving I had woken up with small scars and they let me know how the op went.

The whole theatre team (ODPs and TAs) when I arrived were welcoming and attentive to safety. 

I'm now home sipping a cup of tea post op, feeling extremely positive about my experience. Thank you to all of the team.
