"Excellent care from kind and skilful staff"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital / Cardiology Musgrove Park Hospital / Cath Lab Musgrove Park Hospital / Coronary Care Unit South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust

(as a relative),

My Father in law was admitted to hospital by ambulance with chest pain.

From being picked up at home and throughout his admission in hospital, he was treated by a number of staff who were all fantastic, kind and caring. There was no delay in his treatment and despite having a cardiac arrest during his stenting procedure he recovered quicky due to the incredible skills and care provided.

He was discharged home today after only a 4 day admission. Thank you to all involved!

Dear Jennifer

Thank you so much for your feedback and very kind thanks.

Your Father In Law's time in hospital must have been a very distressing and worrying time for both you and your family. I am extremely glad your father in law experienced such considerate and supportive care from all our colleagues to provide all the reassurance and support he needed.

I hope your father in law is recovering well and is receiving all the support he needs following his discharge at home.

I will share your kind feedback with all the teams involved in his care.

All the very best.

Kindest regards

Melanie Smith

Deputy Associate Director of Patient Care.
