"The care given to me by staff"

About: Belfast City Hospital / Endoscopy Unit

(as a service user),

I was welcomed by friendly, reassuring faces every step of the way. My investigation was explained, and any fears I had were discussed by Rosie . Again, the endoscopy room, each member of staff introduced themselves, and a room full of smiles was so reassuring. My dignity was preserved at all times. I had a lovely nurse chat and reassured me throughout the procedure. My results were given straight away, and I was wheeled into recovery where a very welcome bottle of water and cup of tea were given. I did not have sedation, so I was free to go. Sister walked me to meet my daughter. I couldn't commend the staff more. My care was excellent from start to finish
