About: Yeovil District Hospital / Hospital Maternity Care

(as a service user),

I arrived at the hospital fully dilated the staff were absolutely brilliant they met me at the entrance and took me up by wheelchair as I couldn't walk up, the midwife was fantastic and reassuring me all the way through this was my first pregnancy so I had no idea what to expect.

After a fairly short labour we went on to Freya Ward where we stayed for 6 nights due to our baby being poorly the staff their were also amazing and friendly helping with breast feeding and looking after our baby for a few hours so we could get some sleep.

We can't thank them enough some went above and beyond but overall they were all fantastic.
