"Lack of support from GP"

I went to the doctor because I started having seizures. The doctor at the surgery acted like they were there for me and was going to get me some help. They told me they would contact the hospital's epilepsy clinic. But they never did.

Each time I called and asked what was going on they asked me if I was still having seizures because they didn’t make me a referral last time. The doctor led me to believe that it was my CPTSD causing dissociative seizures. But I was never given a CT or MRI.

I moved to another area, where I had a massive seizure and ended up in hospital for 2 nights. They gave me a CT and MRI of my brain. They found 3 Cavernomas. One had haemorrhaged.

I’m very angry because I’m now on the anti-seizure meds and I feel this whole situation could have been prevented. But I was never given the tests to figure out what was going on.

I’m very angry with how the surgery treated me. I feel like they were not honest with me and misdiagnosed me without any tests.
