"Caring and extremely kind staff"

About: Children and young people / School Age Immunisation Team (SAINT)

(as a parent/guardian),

My son is scared of needles. I spoke to the team and they were fantastic. He was taken into a separate room so he didn't see anyone else having an injection. They spoke to him beforehand to make sure he was happy having it and explained everything very clearly to him. He felt happy and safe. The staff were extremely kind and I can't thank them enough.

Good afternoon Sagittaen57,

Firstly, I would like to thank you for taking the time to write such kind words.

Even from personal experience, I know how scary these things can be so it is so lovely to hear that your son was made to feel comfortable.

Once again, thank you for you feedback!

Kindest regards

Rosie

Many thanks for taking the time to feedback the experience you and your son had.

We aim to try and make the process as easy as we possible can and cater for those that may feel scared or anxious.

I will pass on your thanks to the team involved.
