"Made it so easy"

About: Gynaecology / Gynaecology Outpatients

(as the patient),

I was quite nervous on arrival at Perth Royal Infirmary Outpatients Gynaecology department, as you would be when you're unsure of the unknown. However, Ellie, greeted me in the waiting room with a lovely smile and introduced herself and even got the tv to work for my hubby, who had driven me.

Ellie explained that herself and Sonya would be looking after me and introduced me to Sonya. The both of them were lovely, they made me feel quite relaxed and Sonya explained to me what was going to happen in detail.

Throughout the procedure it was very calming, and Sonya had a lovely funny, caring nature which made it so easy. Both of them explained as they went along what was happening and kept ensuring that I was ok, which I was.

When the procedure was over Sonya explained what would happen next and made me laugh with her upbeat explanations, she was so natural and kind and both of them made my experience a very positive one.

My thanks to both Sonya and Ellie for looking after me.

Dear Avst

Many thanks for sharing your positive experience on your visit to Gynaecology Outpatients at Perth Royal Infirmary. We very much do appreciate how daunting these appointments can be so we strive to ensure person centered care. It is very reassuring that both Sonya and Ellie made your experience as relaxed as is possible and that you were given time at the end to discuss your procedure and any follow up

I will ensure that both Sonya and Ellie are made aware of your feedback.

Best wishes

Jane SCN
