(as a service user),

Our son has Caroline as his speech therapist in a specialist speech mainstream unit in Lisburn. Caroline has gone above and beyond to help us; seeking additional training to meet his needs, integrating health and social care and education by including a physio and OT and providing invaluable resources for us as a family. She is the epitome of person-centred care and we feel so blessed to have her as our sons SLT.  

Caroline is supported by Alison, who is equally as lovely and caring for our son. We wish to acknowledge them both and thank them for the amazing work they do!

I work for the Speech and Language Therapy Service in South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust as a governance and quality improvement lead. My clinical background is working with children and young people who have speech, language and communication needs.

Many thanks for taking the time to post such positive feedback for our Speech and Language Therapy Team in your son's school. We always aim to work with Education staff and our colleagues in schools to provide high quality service. We are delighted to hear that you have had good experiences of the training provided and that the resources provided to you and your son have been so valuable.
