Carolyn was my son's PECS case worker at his speech therapy. She was amazing in connecting with him. She did not have any pre-conceived opinions about him and did not go by the feedback passed on the referral form (which mentioned that my son was not ready) but had an open mind and tried visual support techniques with him in an amazing way.
She was absolutely wonderful with him and the way she taught our son and us was really great. It was only 4 sessions but what a difference she has made in our lives.. We need more people like her !!!
A few months after we followed her techniques, our son's communication with visual supports improved greatly and fast forward a year he is very comfortable in using those for his communication. Thank you Carolyn !!!
