"The care and support we received was excellent"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Coronary Care Unit (CCU) Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Day surgery Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Oral Surgery & Medicine ( Wards 63) Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Pre-Operative Assessment

(as a carer),

My husband was admitted to the QE in Glasgow for head and neck surgery.

The care and support we received was excellent. From the nurses in pre assessment, Day Surgery, CCU and ward 63.

Everyone was professional and caring. Nothing was too much bother. Special thanks to Ms Farooq, Mr Steel , Mr Wales and their teams.

Also thanks to Ben, Head and Neck CNS also Jamie, Speech Therapist for their care and support during what has been a difficult time. Also need to mention all the theatre staff.

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts

Dear Annapy528,

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about you and your husband's experience whilst in our care. The care you have described is a great example of person-centred care and support both for you and your husband.

Your kind feedback will mean so much to our teams and I will ensure they receive this.

Best wishes for your husband's continued recovery,

Kind regards,

Pamela (Philp)

Lead Nurse Neurosurgery & OMFS
