I’ve consistently had bad experiences with this surgery, from a receptionist who consistently gaslights and doesn’t follow through with actions he’s committed to through to doctors who ignored my concerns only for my concerns to be valid after A&E trip. My first real bad experience was last year when I had glandular fever, but the doctor was adamant it was tonsillitis and kept me in antibiotics, refused to give me a test for glandular fever and only allowed standard bloods check, the morning after I was called my nhs telling me to immediately rush to hospital because my livers were high…what caused it?…glandular fever. Fast forward to now, I have been bleeding with large clots for 8 weeks with pelvic pain and an almost 24/7 headache and the doctors refuse to see me until mid March which by then it will have been 17 weeks of bleeding, a 111 doctor said I need to push my gp to see me in person asap and they still refused, but gave me a blood test form so I could check for anemia, even then I asked the receptionist to help me book a local blood test and they did, but wouldn’t give me the address of the location over the phone and told me they’d text me it…well my appointments in 10 hours and I still don’t have an address and the surgery is closed so there goes a wasted appointment I won’t be able to attend, the same receptionist has in the past tried to give me their medical opinion because “they have an a level” in something I don’t remember what, and even when talking to them about my bleeding problem they were very dismissive.
Truly terrible GP surgery.
