Having had 3 occurrences of blood clots in a short period of time I was referred to orthotics. I was advised that I would be given a compression sock to help alleviate issues I had been seeing. I did lack a little confidence in how this was going to help at first but Karen kindly detailed the theory behind why the sock would help and I left feeling far more confident that this could well be the solution I need rather than continual medication.
I had been in a bit of a mental slump around what I had been experiencing with my health but the service and the care that I received throughout has really lifted me. The plan of action detailed by Karen and what happened from that visit has allowed me to have the confidence to get back to the gym without as much fear of ending up straight back to the DVT clinic.
Karen answered all questions and made me feel at ease with good humour. Furthermore as I had been taking time away from work to visit the clinic I was limited with time so it was great that the appointments ran on time and allowed me to get back to work without any real disruption to how I planned my day.
