I’ve been horribly sick for the last few days and finally caved and thought I should contact the GP, but I forgot what this experience really was like.
Appointment bookings start at 8:30, so that’s when I called, as soon as it hit half 8… Won’t go through “appointment line closed”, okay I keep trying… and about 13 calls later I still have the same answer.
So, I called the general enquiries instead to find out if they changed the times/days for booking. There was no queue and I got through immediately, the woman on the phone was pleasant, but ensured that the bookings are all full, which I thought was strange as I have been calling from 8:30AM. She did mention that there seems to be free appointments this afternoon and she can send me a link to go through it online, but this page didn’t let me book anything. I’m so distressed by this as I’ve been experiencing very rough symptoms the last few days but not rough enough to head to hospital, but I do worry about the possibility of going to hospital if my symptoms don’t approve.
Hoping to see a change here
