Laparoscopic Gallbladder Removal.
Admitted at 07:30 and met team members who introduced themselves to me.
Wonderful service: consenting process undertaken simply and then was walked down to anaesthetic room. Unconscious at 08:55, returned to consciousness at 12:35, gallbladder gone and gallstones in common bile duct cleared through.
Care on return to ward was great, and I was offered warm drink and toast when I awoke as I hadn’t eaten all day.
Received medication to take away with me and final injection to reduce risk of DVT.
10/10 would highly recommend.
"Wonderful service"
