"The level of service provided was amazing"

About: Belfast City Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I was nervous about having my loop recorder removed today as I previously had it inserted in Glasgow and did not know what to expect.

Luckily for me, I had it removed by Samantha and Karen, who made me feel so comfortable and were the nicest people I’ve met in a while.

They were incredibly kind, personable, and made the entire experience something positive. Their professionalism and compassionate approach made a world of a difference and I hope if ever I need to return that I am fortunate enough to be cared for by them both again.

The level of service provided today was amazing and it is rare to encounter such warmth and attentiveness in a medical setting. Please pass on my heartfelt thanks to them both.

Hi AMckee

My name is Emma and I am the service manager for cardiology in the Belfast Trust. Thank you so much for taking time to write about your experience as a patient at our loop explant clinic. It is so lovely to get such positive feedback and I will make sure that Karen and Samantha are aware of your kind comments.

I hope you are well and make a speedy recovery from your procedure.

Thanks once again.

Emma
