"Their speed of action and communication is fantastic"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Clinical haematology

(as a service user),

This is just general review of the Haemophilia Centre at Lincoln County Hospital. I have Severe Haemophilia and I have been a patient here since I was 8 years old. I’m now 44. I couldn’t ask for better care from the team. From the consultants, to the nurses, they’re all incredible. They’re attentive and proactive in managing my care needs and providing a high level of support.

Their speed of action and communication is fantastic. Also, the care feels holistic and not just focused on my Haemophilia without taking other aspects into account. I feel like I’m treated as an individual and not just ‘another patient’. They’re friendly and patient in dealing with me and always go the extra mile to ensure I’m informed and re-assured.

The only thing that I think could be added to the department would be a dedicated physio, as I currently need to liaise with Sheffield for my physio care

Hi talonks68

We thank you for taking the time to feedback. We are aware of the lack of physio for haemophilia within out trust, this is something that has been highlighted.

We are pleased that you found our care holistic and have had a positive experience within our centre.

Kind Regards

Elinor
