"Paediatric Endocrinology"

About: Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital / Medical Paediatrics (Children's Medicine)

(as a parent/guardian),

I would like to thank Dr. Oxley and Lynn (Paediatric Endocrinology) for their exceptional care and compassion while looking after my 9-year-old son on two separate occasions. From the very first visit with Dr. Oxley to the first appointment where we were taken care of by Lynn, both of them went above and beyond to make him feel at ease, speaking directly to him with kindness and reassurance. (Also an extra special thanks to Aidan who sat and comforted, engaged with and tried to take my sons mind off the process with games and books on our first appointment)

On the second visit, my son was even more anxious, but Dr. Oxley scheduled a time to make himself personally available to tend to my son and both Dr. and Lynn took the time to comfort him, talk with him, showed incredible patience, warmth, and understanding. Their friendly and caring approach made a world of difference, turning a stressful experience into one where my son felt safe and supported.

Dr. Oxley is the most amazing, caring doctor I have ever come across. His dedication, professionalism, and genuine compassion are truly remarkable. Together with Lynn, they provided not just outstanding medical care but also invaluable emotional support. I am incredibly grateful for everything they have done.
