"Amazing Care"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Neonatal (Special care unit)

(as a service user),

The nursing team at the Special Care Baby Unit in Barnstaple (NDDH) were absolutely amazing and a real example of how a ward should be.

The team took great care of our baby as well as of mum up on the unit and it was very reassuring to see how confident and caring they were in their work. I'm certain that the team's hard work not only lead to a really good out come for us in the end, but also made it much easier to process and deal with the situation from start to finish.

There were lots of moments where I felt the team went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, in safe hands and that we were always listened to.

I hope it doesn't sound to cheesy when I say it was like watching experts at work and I truly felt we were receiving the best possible care.

I sincerely hope this feed back finds it way to them as they are an exceptional team of nurses. Thank you for everything you did for us we are all lucky to have you.
