"Excellent early pregnancy care"

I attended IRH maternity early pregnancy unit yesterday having experiencing severe right sided pain following a positive pregnancy test the week before. I cannot have had a better experience.

Initially midwife Laura was very professional and compassionate whilst accompanying me in the scan room. Sonographer Eileen was also very compassionate and great at explaining her findings from scan, both Laura and Eileen made me feel safe and cared for during my scan. 

As my scan findings were inconclusive midwife Sarah and midwife Amy provided me with pain relief and consistently updated me as I awaited my blood results which were taken by MCA Michelle. As my blood results were taking longer than expected Sarah ensured I had something to eat and drink when I was more comfortable (stunning cup of tea) and actively checked on me as I attended the unit alone. 

All these midwives and MCA went above and beyond, consistently being compassionate and professional whilst providing outstanding care and deserve recognition for everything they do.
