"Farm accident- broken legs"

(as the patient),

I had fallen off the silage pit roof on my farm and had shattered my left leg and broke my right foot. I firstly want to thank the paramedics that helped me on the scene off the scene off the accident. One of the paramedics was called Kevin and I am sorry but I forget the other males name. I cannot thank use enough for the care you provided for me and my family at that time, use were truest amazing.

I want to thank all the staff in AAH ED for the amazing care use provided for me. I want to thank Dr Stephen in ED who was so reassuring and helpful for both myself and my wife, you gave us such amazing care.

I want to thank all the staff in Ward 21 for the continued care and support use had provided me for the approx 12 days that I was in your care. I want to thank Sinead especially in Ward 21 for the amazing support and care you provided me when you overstayed your working hours to make me feel relaxed and prepared before going into surgery, you are a truly inspirational nurse!

I want to thank all the staff in Ward 23 for the amazing support and care you provided for me on the lead up to being discharged. I want thank Rosemary in Ward 23 especially as she was so welcoming when I came into ward 23, you gave me such comfort,you are truly amazing.

I want to thank Dr, Foster who preformed an amazing surgery on me and has made me feel so much better. I want to thank all the Physio and OT’s who helped me learn to walk again and gain strength. I want to thank the cleaners, HCA’s and dinner/tea ladies/men who always knew how to brighten my day and would always have a conversation with me. To summarise, I want to thank everyone who cared for me in AAH, I cannot fault any of use! Thank you all so much, it is really appreciated.
