"Well informed nurse"

About: Abridge Surgery

I was asked to see nurse for diabetes review. This was not due and I hadn't fasted for blood test I was only expecting renal function. This was dealt with quickly I asked for her advice re asthma review which I was concerned about. As most of review overlapped she was fine about advising me on green Inhaler, which I found clumsy in use and didn't seem to help me. She agreed and changed me to Trimbow for trial. She gave me sputum sample bottles as I was concerned I had needed 7 antibiotics last year and felt my current one wasn't working for a long term infection. She tested my urine sample and I explained Canestane no longer available to me over counter which meant delay in getting it on prescription and thrush worsening. She was very understanding and sympathetic to my worries and I told her I was leaving the surgery in a better frame of mind and less anxious than when I arrived.
