"My dad's time in the Emergency Department"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Emergency Medicine

(as a relative),

My Dad was taken into ARI A&E and he was unfortunately very unwell and was being treated for end of life care. I just wanted to express my thanks and gratitude to all the staff in A&E the who looked after my dad but I want to make a special recognition to a nursing auxiliary Amy not only did she care for my dad at the end of his life but she care for me and my family who were going through a hard time she made it a priority to check on us continuously and made sure we were well looked after, always made sure my dad was comfortable at the end of his life and for that I cannot thank her enough.

A&E was extremely busy this day and Amy made me feel nothing was ever to much to ask, she made this difficult time a little be easier for me and my family. Big thanks.

Dear juneqe75

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about the Emergency Department. It is truly appreciated and I will be sure to let the staff and in particular Amy know. This must have been a difficult time for you and your family and my thoughts are with you.
