"kind, empathetic and understanding"

I had an ultrasound as I was passing blood in my urine. From reception to the end of the appointment, I was treated with dignity and respect. I did not have to wait long for the ultrasound and the nurse ensured that I was comfortable and talked me through the entire process. She answered any questions I had, and was reassuring, as I was anxious about my condition. Her instructions were clear and she assisted me throughout the scan. At no point did I feel embarrassed or concerned as her attitude was kind, empathetic and understanding. I was made aware of what would happen next once the ultrasound procedure had ended.
