"The staff were all so lovely and helpful"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Endoscopy Unit

(as a service user),

I have had ongoing issues with chronic crohn's/colitis for quite a while but have managed.

I arrived on time and saw a lovely nurse called Ash. He was so lovely and patient, and kept me at ease while prepping me for the procedure.

The doctor came down to take me to theatre for procedure and talked me through it all. She was so lovely as well.

I was quite nervous not knowing what to expect with the OGD. I did feel as if I was going to throw up a few times but luckily I didn't.

The colonoscopy I'm not going to lie isn't very pleasant, but the nurses there were so lovely and talked me through it all as it was happening.

The hospital staff were all so lovely and helpful to me! And it didn't take that long, it felt really long but all in all about 30 mins.

I'd like to thank them all for everything.
