"Great care"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Day Surgery Unit Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Endoscopy

(as the patient),

I had to go into the day care surgery unit to have a laparoscopy and a endoscopy, all part of my cancer journey. As I had to come from Fife at 3am, the staff got me put up the list (very grateful).

From the moment I walked in to the moment I left around 10 hours (as I couldn't pee lol) the staff were amazing, everything was clearly explained to me and my partner, nothing was too much trouble, friendly smiling faces and I even took my sloth, George, with me, which drew some strange looks and some laughs.

I will be in and out hospital over the next few months and look forward to more friendly staff
