"Booking an appointment"

About: Bedford House Medical Centre

The hours that you can book an appointment on are ridiculous. I’m a student who’s currently in highschool and I wanted to get check out by the doctor for asthma so I asked my father to book me an appointment because I can’t use my phone in school and the receptionist tells my father that I either need to be present or I need to call myself to book an appointment. So I do exactly as I’m told but obviously I can’t book it because it’s out of the working hours. So I tell the receptionist that I’m a student and I don’t have time to book my own appointments and she just gives me attitude saying that I just need to ask my school to let me do it and that a form literally just takes 2 minutes to complete. I feel like there were way better ways to phrase this and she could have helped in resolving the situation a little better. These hours need to be fixed for students like me who do not have time to call and make appointments to see a doctor.
