"Great service"

In January I had cataract surgery on one of my eyes, and was fortunate enough to be able to follow this up in late February with a similar procedure on my other eye. Whilst I am still recovering from the second operation, I cannot believe the amazing difference it has made and cannot thank the staff at Leicester CHEC clinic enough for giving me back my eyesight. The referral process was unbelievably quick and easy, and I was given an initial assessment appointment within a week or so of first contact, at a date and time convenient to me. The service I received at that first appointment and at both subsequent appointments was first class: attentive, kind and professional staff; a pleasant, clean and comfortable environment; easy parking and also great public transport links; excellent discharge procedures with help and support available if I needed to seek advice and support after the operation (which I did, but only a bit). I could not have asked for anything better and I am so grateful to all the staff and to our wonderful NHS.
