"You should be proud of your work"

My daughter had been experiencing mild hip pain for a few days and a sore tummy I took her to the GP thinking she was probably overcoming a viral illness. I was swiftly given an appointment at Auchtermuchty Health centre  and was seen by ANP Gael. We had seen Gael earlier on in the year following a tonsillitis episode and Gael had told us our daughter had a silent murmur she referred her to paediatrics but we later learned the murmur was due the virus and had resolved.

Gael acted in the best interests of my daughter at that time and I cannot thank her enough. Yesterday we received the most devastating news that our 7 daughter has  acute leukaemia. Gael was apologetic in case she was sending us to hospital “for nothing” but she like me was not happy with my daughter's history even though her recorded observations weren’t alarming.

Gael is a credit to Auchtermuchty Health centre and I cannot thank her enough, not to mention the reception staff who also acted promptly with giving an appointment. You should be proud of your work Gael. We can’t thank you enough Auchtermuchty surgery. Thank you all.
