"Services that could help many people"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Clinical haematology Lincoln County Hospital / Physiotherapy

(as the patient),

Hi, I am a haemophiliac living in Lincoln. I used to have Physiotherapy after some surgery but that service was withdrawn because of funding. I do think if it was made more available rather than trying to quickly get people out the door before they are ready would certainly help patient recovery.

Also there are no psychological services for the Haematology department at Lincoln County Hospital, that is an area that I think would definitely benefit from having a specialist. These days there are so many issues that people have from an emotional point of view as well as physically, so I think some help here would benefit many people.

Thank you for posting your concerns. We are currently working with the Nottingham Physiotherapy Haemophilia service to strengthen our offer. We are happy to accept a referral into our service and have recently successfully worked together with the local Haemophilia professionals to assist another individual with Haemophilia and their physical needs.
