(as a parent/guardian),

My child was first put on a waiting list for assessment over two years ago… she had her first adhd test yesterday which was good the lady doing the assessment was very nice and explained all to us both before starting .. however I was then told it will take another six months to receive the results!!! This is very disheartening for both my child and myself…

Thank you 'nashiranj86' for your feedback on your recent involvement with the ADHD Service. I am delighted to hear that your appointment with the practitioner this week went well and you and your child/young person felt well informed throughout.

I apologise that you and your child/young person have had to wait for this initial appointment. I am unclear why it would take a further 6 months to receive any results.
