Once again I am writing in praise of the excellent care and attention given to my elderly father. He presented with a swollen, painful calf and a DVT was suspected. Initial tests done in A&E were inconclusive so he had to return twice for a Doppler scan to rule out a DVT.
On both subsequent visits we were seen quickly at X-RAY and in MAU. The sonographers were very courteous and helped my father with dressing. The results of the scans were well explained by Lorraine and we left feeling reassured.
