Having had a fall in 2020, followed by lots of tests, finally in 2022 I received a diagnosis of Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. In 2024 my MS Team referred me to Park Hill and I was lucky enough to be assigned Lestyn as my Neurophysiotherapist.
I cannot praise Lestyn enough, his manner from first meeting him and throughout our sessions was impeccable, as my husband says ‘what a lovely bedside manner’ and as a ‘low in confidence’ MS lady, it makes such a difference to feel supported and have confidence in my therapist.
Lestyn has worked very hard with me and been extremely patient at times when I struggled with things, but has definitely given me some of my confidence back. We’ve worked on standing, transferring, sitting and climbing stairs plus exercising, all of which has been really beneficial….. hard work at times, but everything done with my safety being paramount!!
I am so grateful to Lestyn for everything he has done for me and I am extremely sad to lose him but wish him all the very best for the future.
The Neuro team have been superb in my opinion and I look forward to meeting my new Neurophysio soon. Awesome work guys thank you!!
