NHS nurses attended my daughter school to administer the HPV vaccine, she was really anxious and scared and unfortunately was unable to go through with it.
We then received a call from Heather the lead nurse who offered us a appointment out with the school. This was really great for us as the impact the initial appointment had on my daughter in front of her peers was really upsetting.
On arrival Heather took us into a private room where she spent time explaining the benefits and the procedure of the HPV vaccine. My daughter was extremely agitated and upset but Heather took her time and eventually the vaccine was done.
Heather was amazing and we are really thankful for all her patience.
"This was really great for us"
