"Very pleasant, reassuring and calm"

About: Glasgow Dental Hospital and School / Dental

(as the patient),

I attended the hospital for investigations into a burning sensation on my tongue. I saw Dr Fortuna who was extremely thorough and referred me for MRI and asked me to come back for a biopsy of an unrelated thing which he had spotted ( which turned out to be fine).

Both of these were carried out within a couple of months. Dentist Taylor carried out the biopsy and he was very pleasant, reassuring and calm. The process was easy. Dr Fortuna called me and explained all the findings and I was very grateful, it really felt like attention and treatment I have not experienced before within the NHS.

To end I had an appointment with Dr Ryan many months later just to confirm all was ok and sign me off.  Again Dr Ryan left no stone unturned and explained fully the likely causes for this sensation and  all possible treatments.

I'm sure these Doctors/Dentists are under as much constraints/stress as all others but you would never know it. Lastly each time I attended I was taken on time if not before. Fantastic. Thank you.
