The practice is hit and miss. At times you get a good doctor and get good treatment and service. At times you don't. This day was the later. I left feeling like I was a nuisance and I had been bothering the named partner doctor because I dared to ask for him to answer questions on all my medications rather than one when the appointment was for a review of medication.
I also happened to be sick and had caught something in the last few days so I asked about that and he was visibly annoyed and verbalised it to me. I felt like a 5 year old being told off.
Now.... to the positives. The receptionists at Chace are generally lovely and helpful and there was a trainee doctor in 2023 who went a long way to restore my fear of GP offices and took my symptoms seriously leading me to getting a diagnosis after more than a decade. I am forever grateful to him. So the surgery really is hit and miss. It depends on who you get on the day and how they are feeling on said day.
