After my mum broke her hip at the beginning of January her road to recovery has been complicated and involved inpatient stays in the QMC, City Hospital, Clifton View and The Grand. For the 9 weeks mum was an inpatient we had contrasting views of care but honestly, mum and I can not thank Jude and the community team enough for the care and dedication they have showed. From 1st meeting Jude and everything she put into place to get mum home to the multiple physio's who have supported mum the experience has been exemplary.
Mum always wanted to be able to get her independence back and be able to live at home (albeit with some additional support). Mum has amazed me with her determination and at no stage has anyone made mum feel she wasn't capable of this.
Jude you have been a massive support for me in not feeling I had to navigate a system I had little knowledge of alone and I genuinely don't know how I would have made it through without you.
