About: Locality Health and Care Services / Day Services - North

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I have been coming to Ross Court Day Service and I like the company. Before I didn't socialize, I didn't appreciate how important it is. I really appreciate the staff. As English is my second language I appreciate that they take extra time to include me and go over things with me.

We do a lot of activities, and if you don't want to do something the staff are really accommodating and you can do something else.

One thing I would change is the food, I'm not a fan of it. I wouldn't mind if they charged more for it so we can get better options.

My name is Ally and I manage the Older People's Day Care service in East Ayrshire. Its great to hear staff take the time to make themselves understood and that you feel there is a good variety of activity options.

I'm sorry to hear that you don't find the food so enjoyable. We are currently looking at how we improve our services over the next year so will be sure to consider if we could offer more options going forward. In the meantime please speak with your keyworker to see if there are any current food options that would be more agreeable.
