An e-mail referral from my GP to whom I had presented with a very painful foot meant that I was in x-ray and treated very quickly. The service was excellent -efficient, effective and pleasnt staff working in clean modern surroundings with good kit. Before I could get home a fracture had been identified and I was referred to outpatient orthopedics the next day, where the service was of the same calibre. Result: fitted with a moon boot a little over 24 hours after first contacting a doctor. The NHS at its best is world class. The only downside is the speed means that parking arrangement necessarily lag!
