"Thanks to everyone"

About: John Eastwood Hospice (inpatient)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

John Eastwood Hospice - Long Term Conditions Group

To be honest, when I first started going to the group (my wife calls it the Youth Club), I felt very worried, but I neednt have been. I have truly enjoyed every Wednesday. In fact, it gives me something to look forward to. I have learned that I have an interest in painting. Something I have never thought about in my life. Each week there is something new to do, I. e. baking, making silk scarves, potting plants, exercising are just to name a few. All the staff are the most caring people. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The dinners you get are also lovely. Thanks to everyone.

Thank you for taking the time to write your comments, I will pass them onto the Wednesday team - particularly about calling it the youth club, the aim of Wednesday is to show you what you can do!

Best wishes Emma
